A_Protagonist: If he had moved Qd2 on 11, instead of Bxe3, then I would've played differently. Wasn't a zugzwang, just a gambit/bait that he shouldn't have accepted.

Bob Armstrong: Wait - what happens on 10...Ne3 11.Qd2 Qxf3 12.Nd4 exd4 13.cxd4 and Bl loses the N because it is now pinned and cannot move, and W can capture it with the R, and not have to move the Q which protects against the g2mate? All equal !

A_Protagonist: I thought I played this game like a pro, which doesn't happen all too often. I trounced a weak opening, and I feel pretty good about it.
